Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-07-18
1. Overview
FlooringFlow is business software for flooring companies — it helps a company manage its own leads, customers, estimates, jobs, scheduling, and invoicing. This policy explains what information we collect through the app, how we use it, and how it's protected. It applies to the FlooringFlow web app, installer mobile app, and marketing site.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you or your company creates a FlooringFlow account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password — we never store your password in plain text.
Business data you enter.A flooring company using FlooringFlow enters information about its own customers and operations — customer names, addresses, phone numbers, and emails; leads; estimates; jobs; schedules; and invoices. This data belongs to that company; FlooringFlow processes it on the company's behalf to provide the service, and doesn't use it for any other purpose.
Payment information. Payments are processed directly by Stripe. FlooringFlow never sees or stores full card numbers — Stripe handles that data under its own privacy and security standards.
Photos and signatures. The installer app uploads job-site photos and customer signatures to secure cloud storage as part of documenting completed work.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to operate FlooringFlow: running the app, processing payments, sending transactional emails and notifications (like payment confirmations and job status updates sent through a customer's tracking link), and maintaining and improving the service. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
4. Cookies
FlooringFlow uses cookies to keep you signed in — specifically, short-lived authentication tokens that let the app recognize your session. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Who we share information with
We share information with the service providers that make FlooringFlow work — Stripe for payment processing, and Amazon Web Services for hosting and file storage. These providers only receive what they need to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. We don't sell or rent personal information to third parties.
6. Data retention
If a company account is canceled and archived, its data is retained for 90 days in case the company wants to reactivate, then permanently deleted. If you'd like your data deleted sooner, or have other questions about retention, contact us at support@flooringflow.app.
7. Data security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed rather than stored in plain text, and each company's data is isolated from every other company's within FlooringFlow's multi-tenant infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.
8. Your choices
You can review or correct your account information at any time from within the app. To request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or ask any other question about how your information is handled, contact support@flooringflow.app.
9. Children's privacy
FlooringFlow is business software intended for use by flooring companies and their staff, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
